Surviving Long-Term Lockup: Tips for Success

So, you've survived "Locktober" or a weekend lockup, and you want to try 24/7 chastity. Long-term wear changes the game entirely. It stops being a "scene" and becomes a lifestyle.

1. The Right Fit is Non-Negotiable

You can endure an ill-fitting cage for a night. You cannot endure it for a month. If you plan on long-term wear, invest in a custom-fit device or high-end adjustable model like a mature HolyTrainer or Chastity Tech device. Your body changes size throughout the day (temperature, hydration), so you need a device that accommodates that.

2. Managing "Blue Balls"

Epididymal hypertension (blue balls) is real and uncomfortable. It usually fades after the first few weeks as the body adjusts to the lack of frequent release. Cold compresses or light exercise can help alleviate the ache.

3. Emergency Protocols

Life happens. You might need an MRI, you might get sick, or you might have a travel emergency. Always have a "safe word" or an emergency key plan. If the Keyholder is long-distance, consider a frozen key method or a timed safe box as a backup.

Long-term chastity is a journey of endurance. Listen to your body, and keep the communication lines with your Keyholder open.
